Who is Mrs. Thomas?

My name is Stacey Thomas and the 2022-2023 school year will be my 11th year as the counselor at Story Elementary, but my 16th year as a school counselor and 20th year in Education.  Before counseling I taught second grade, and even though I really enjoyed teaching I LOVE being a school counselor!  I grew up in the Plano area until I went to Fort Worth for my undergraduate degree from TCU (GO FROGS).  I stayed in that area a year after I graduated to teach before I returned back to Collin County again and continued teaching and began working on my Masters of Education in School Counseling.  Even though I already graduated, I still continue to learn each and every day!  I live with my wonderful family-Jeff (my husband), JJ (our oldest son), and PJ (our youngest son). We also have a pesky lil Frenchton named Bruno! When I am not here at school with my Falcon family, I enjoy spending time with my amazing family and friends.
