Hello!

My name is Chelsea Abboud and I am the Assistant Principal at Chandler Elementary.  I am so excited to welcome back our current Cheetahs and look forward to meeting our new Cheetahs and their families.  I feel that strong partnerships between school and home is a critical component in the overall success of students.   

This fall I will begin my 24th year in education. Over the course of my educational career, I have taught both 3rd and 5th grades. I began my journey here in Allen ISD in the fall of 2012 and taught 3rd grade at Chandler for three years. I am excited about starting my seventh year as the Assistant Principal here at Chandler.

I was born and raised in Lancaster, Texas where I married my high school sweetheart, Jamal. We have been happily married for almost 22 years. We have lived in Allen for 20 years and have two amazing children. Our daughter Audrea is an 11th grader at Allen High School.  Our son Alden is in 6th grade here at Chandler.  We are a huge soccer family, so most evenings and weekends you will find us on the soccer fields.

I'm very excited about the upcoming 2022-2023 school year!  It is going to be a fantastic year of excitement and learning!
