Welcome Bobcats!

 My name is Emily Barrett. I am very excited about the 2018-2019 school year here at Bolin. It is going to be a great year!

This will be my sixth year at Bolin Elementary teaching second grade. I was born in Pennsylvania and lived in Georgia and Houston before moving to Allen in the seventh grade. I graduated from Allen High School in 2009. I absolutely love this city and school district. Go Eagles!

 I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in elementary education and a minor in psychology. I graduated from the Univsersity of North Texas this past May with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.  

I enjoy reading, traveling, exercising, and learning new things.  I love teaching second grade! I also have three crazy rescue dogs, Gemma, Gauge, and Gunner.
