    This course provides an overview of the therapeutic, diagnostic, health informatics, support services and biotechnology research and development systems of the health care industry. This course will satisfy the state graduation requirement for Health. This course is a prerequisite for applying for Health Science.

    Thank you for your interest in the exciting field of healthcare!  Principles of Health Science is the full year  prerequisite course for any of the upper level Health Science clinical courses. It provides an overview of many aspects of the healthcare field including the history of medicine, the body in health and disease, human growth and development, medical ethics and teamwork.
