About Me
Coach Palmertree
I am so excited to start a new year of teaching. This will be my fourteenth year teaching and I am very excited to see what it holds. This is my seventh year in the gym. I am looking forward to having our Color Run this fall, playing new games throughout the year, and seeing our older students grow on their FitnessGram assessments from last year.
I have an amazing family. My husband and I will be married for 16 years this fall. We have two gorgeous daughters that are both December babies. Both of the girls are Blazers too! They are two of the sweetest, craziest, loving kids that I know. They keep me on my toes all the time. There is never a dull moment in the Palmertree House! We also have the world's smallest dog. Her name is Kat (or KatDawg) and we adopted her three years ago.
I have a degree in Exercise Science and a love for healthy lifestyles. I will graduate in December with a master's degree in Educational Leadership. I love to run and have run 45 half marathons, 8 marathons, and one ultra marathon! I will be running my FIFTH Marine Corps Marathon in October and will be running the Dopey Challenge in January at Disney World. I believe that setting goals to keep you in an active lifestyle and ones that are a challenge for you to reach.
I am so lucky to be able to teach ALL our wonderful Bolin Blazers. I hope they will all share my love for exercise and healthy lifestyles and love coming to P.E. each week. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email or call.
