I graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration in 1988. I worked in the private sector for a few years before pursuing my dream. I returned to school where I received my Alternative Teacher Certification and began my teaching career in Laredo, Texas in 1990. I taught in San Antonio, Texas for 16 years before moving to Allen with my family in 2008. I have been working with our fabulous students at Boyd Elementary ever since. I love coming to work every day because every day in teaching is a new adventure!
