Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!!  This is my eleventh year teaching at Norton and I have been part of the Norton family since 2001, when our oldest daughter started Kindergarten.  Madeline is now an Emergency Department nurse at Baylor Scott & White's McClane Children's Hospital in Temple, Texas. Our daughter Sophia is currently living her dream as a dolphin trainer at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Along with my husband John (we are celebrating 32 years of marriage this year) and our girls, we also have two dogs at home, Rocky, a Golden Retriever, and Ruby, a pointing Griffon!  We have lived in Watters Crossing for 23 years and are extremely proud to be part of this amazing neighborhood and school district!! 

 You will be introduced to the SpringBoard curriculum which is used by Allen ISD beginning in 6th grade through 12th grade.  We will read and write every day, in addition to having lively discussions and small group work.  

In my sparetime, I enjoy cooking, reading, going to the movies and traveling.  We are huge fans of the Allen Eagles football team, the Allen Escadrille (the largest marching band in the United States) and, since we're originally from the midwest, Ohio State football - Go Buckeyes!
