Welcome to Third Grade!

I am thrilled to be a part of the Kerr Elementary family and Third Grade team.  

My family moved to Allen from Orlando, Florida, in 2012, where I taught for many years. Prior to teaching, I had a successful career in public relations within the arts community.  After having my children, I realized that my true passion in life was, and still is, teaching. Since then, I have enjoyed getting into the hearts of my students and helping them to realize their full and unique potential.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing tennis, practicing pilates, going to the movies, and traveling with my family.  My daughter, Audery, is attending PA school at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and my son, Scott, is a recent graduate of Florida State University, working for an airline in Dallas. My husband, Adam, and I have been married for 29 years.
