Hello! My name is Alyson Rekieta and I am an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teacher at Cheatham Elementary.  I have the honor of teaching many of the wonderful students at Cheatham Elementary every day. I am currently in my 10th year of teaching. 

I believe that every student has the ability to learn and accomplish amazing things. My personal mission is to help them achieve their potential every day!

I live in McKinney with my husband Kevin, my 5-year-old Theodore and my 3-year-old Penelope and my 4 month old Max.  When I am not teaching my awesome kiddos, I like to spend time with my family, read, watch movies, and bake. Fun fact: I am the oldest of 6 kids!
