• Arena Scheduling

    Arena Scheduling is a course scheduling system for high school that allows students to create their own schedules similar to the systems used in college. Students will see classes with open seats available each period and make choices to create a schedule that works best for them.

    In this online system, students will have more control over their schedules and have an unofficial version before the end of the current school year. 

     

    Timeline

    • Current Juniors = March 20-22
    • Current Sophomores = April 1-3
    • Current Freshman = April 15-17

    Course Selection Clean-up -

    Counselors will meet with students one-on-one

    Build Master Schedule

    Master schedule will be built with seats for all requests, however during any given period, seats will be limited.

    This includes privilege periods as well as all core and elective courses.

    February

    Open Arena Schedule Review Period

    Students will be able to build possible schedules based on their requests and times/periods courses are available.

    Building three (3) possible schedules is recommended in order to make the Arena Scheduling more efficient and provide higher probability of getting the periods requested.

    March

    Open Arena Schedule to Students

    Arena Scheduling will be open by grade level beginning with incoming seniors. Arena will open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 11:59 p.m. on the 3rd day.

    Note:  Blanks in a schedule could result in the schedule being adjusted and courses moved from the period chosen during Arena Scheduling.


    Each open period will be followed by 7 days of cleanup which allows counselors to address any issues reported in the Help Ticket.

    Note:  Issues encountered during Arena Scheduling must be reported using the Help Ticket link below.

    Arena Scheduling Help Ticket

    Issues will be addressed in the order they are received. Emails or calls will be directed to put in a help ticket and will delay assistance.
