    Hello!  My name is Shelly Diana and I am very excited to be the music teacher here at Marion!! This is my 8th year here in Allen and it is my 23rd year teaching music.  Before coming to Allen I was teaching elementary general music and chorus at a school in New Milford, CT.  I earned my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Western Connecticut State University.
     
    This summer I went to SMU to complete my Kodaly Level 3 Training (the last level!!!!!).  I will recieve my Kodaly Certification at the end of next summer after completing a few teaching videos!!
     
    When I am not teaching I love to spend time with my family, listening to music, reading, and going to the beach.  I love being a Marion Maverick!!!
