    Welcome to Kindergarten!
     
    I can't wait to meet all of you and begin a great school year! Kindergarten is my favorite grade! The students learn and grow so much during this time and I consider it to be a blessing to be a part of that! I cannot wait to get to know each of you and your child better, but to learn more about me, please read below!
     
    This will be my eleventh year teaching, my sixth year teaching Kindergarten at Vaughan! I have also taught Pre-K, First Grade, and Second Grade. I am so fortunate to be an Allen Eagle and a Vaughan Viking! I love being here! I am originally from Wichita Falls, TX where I attended Midwestern State University and began my teaching career. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education with an English as a Second Language, Gifted/Talented, and Early Childhood through Sixth Grade certification. 
     
    My husband, Jacob, and I have been married for nine years and have three boys! Luke is six (and is in 1st grade here at Vaughan), Ben is three, and Caleb is two. We are so thankful for our boys. Jacob and I love them deeply and love getting to be parents! My family is incredibly important to me. I love spending time with them and making memories! I also like to travel, read, watch movies, swim, put together puzzles, and paint.
