    Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!  We are going to have a fantastic year full of fun and discovery.
     
    I am originally from Florida and received my degree from the University of Florida -- Go Gators! I have lived in the Allen area for almost 30 years and started working at Anderson the year after it opened. Wow! That's a long time :-) Both my daughter and son were Anderson All-Stars. My daughter now teaches AP Physics at North Garland High and my son is studying Areonautical Science at Embry-Riddle in Florida.
     
    I am so excited to be teaching Reading and Language Arts in 5th Grade. Previously I have been a teacher in ESL, Resource, and 4th grade, but the majority of my 22 years of teaching has been in 5th grade where I have taught Social Studies, Math, Science, and now ELAR.
     
    I am looking forward to the year ahead. Let's make this the best year ever!!
