Welcome to Marion Elementary! It is an honor for me to serve as the principal of the Marion learning community. Education is my calling, and I feel that it is a great responsibility to raise the next generation of global citizens. I believe school should be a safe and happy place that kids want to run to every day! It is my purpose to support our learning community by creating a stimulating and enriching environment that nurtures success, maximizes learning, and promotes self-esteem. I strive to build a culture of high academic achievement that is intentionally optimistic, inclusive, and encouraging. Without a doubt, children receive the best education when you and our dedicated teachers work as a team. Children are inspired by their parents' enthusiasm, support, and involvement. I encourage you to join our PTA and ask your child’s teacher how you can get involved. You can do as much or as little as you like…it's up to you. Just know, we strive to ensure that all our parents feel welcome and appreciated as we partner in the education of your child. Elementary school is such a sweet and special time in a child's life. The memories we make during the first years of school will be cherished for a lifetime. It is my mission to ensure your children and families have a positive and joyful learning experience while at Marion. I want your child to love coming to school, and I want you to feel the same way!
