Welcome to 5th Grade!!

What a joy to be a part of the amazing team at Preston Elementary.  It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning and adventures.  I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us.

I truly believe that education is the key to success, and that every student can be successful.  Each child has a different brain which means they think and learn differently. As their teacher I strive to help them grow both as a learner and as a person of good character. You, the parent or guardian, are a very important influence in your child’s life.  With your support and encouragement together we can make this an exciting and productive year.

My goal is to be a positive influence.  I have high expectations for all students to listen, learn, and do their best. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my class.  I do my best to teach with a passion for my subjects so that my students will develop the desire to be lifelong learners.

I am overjoyed about the opportunity to work side by side with you and your fifth grader.
