Hello everyone! My name is Rachael Britton. I am in my very first year of teaching, although I have been at Bolin since January of 2017 through student teaching and subbing. As a matter of fact, I student taught in the exact room I'm teaching in now! That is a rare but wonderful blessing. I am so thankful to be a part of the Bolin family, and I cannot wait to see where my journey takes me. I grew up in Arlington, TX where I went to Martin High School. After graduating, I went to UNT to study education, and eventually was placed here in Allen. I graduated from UNT in December of 2018, and shortly after I worked here as a long-term sub in resource. It was not much longer until I was hired on into the school that I have grown to know and love.
Currently, I am living with a crazy two-year-old Goldendoodle named Cleo and two wonderful and supportive roommates, one of whom I student taught with. I have two siblings, Sam (22) and Sarah (20), who are both in college right now. Sam is about to graduate with a degree in computer science, and Sarah is in her second year studying molecular biology and neuroscience.
I look forward to this year with you all, and I cannot wait to watch your children grow and fluorish in the Bears classroom!
My conference time is 8:05 - 8:50
