Mr. Knoerr

Welcome my most amazing art students! My name is Doug Knoerr and I am so excited to be your art teacher this year. We are going to have a blast in art, and I hope you will love it! Just some of the things we will explore are painting, drawing, sculpture, clay, and much more!

This will be my 26th year in Education. I have my master’s degree from TWU and I have taught in the 1^st-5^th grade general education classroom. I have been doing art all my life and even sold some of my portraits. Art is very special to me and I’m super excited to share my knowledge with you and help you explore your creativity. I’m committed to helping all students reach their personal goals and full potential in art!

On a personal note, I just celebrated my 9 year wedding anniversary and live in Allen. We have 3 dogs: Suzie (our Pomeranian), Louie (our awesome English bulldog), and Simon (our awesome Old English Bulldog). I absolutely love Allen and feel so blessed to be living and working in this awesome city.
