Hi Y'all!  In case my greeting didn't tip you off, I am a true southern girl from Nashville,TN. I love being a Blackhawk where "Boyd Kindness Matters"! I look forward to meeting and learning all about you and your child. My husband and I live in Allen and I am the proud mother of four wonderful children and two loveable fur-children named Nashville and Dolly.

I have an undergraduate degree from The University of TN at Knoxville (Go Vols!) and a Masters of Elementary Education degree from Tennessee State University (Go Tigers!). In addition to my EC-6 certificate, I hold certifications in Special Education and Mid-Management.

I have the awesome pleasure of teaching Math and Science. In Math, it is my goal to foster a mathematical mindset, empower students to better communicate and understand the real-life application of math as a conceptual subject. In Science, students will focus on various science domains that will foster knowledge and engage their learning.  I look forward to working hand in hand with you, as we challenge your kiddos to be risk takers, learn from mistakes and "Take their Learning to New Heights".
