    Short Biography:

    Dr. Quast earned her Masters of Science in School Counseling from Texas A&M University – Commerce 2011 and earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Counselor Education with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas A&M University – Commerce in 2016.  She began her career as a middle school English teacher.  She served as a Professional School Counselor at Allen High School for 4 years.  Dr. Quast operated a private practice in McKinney, Texas as an LPC and LMFT for 5 years.  In private practice she focused on working with families, couples, adolescents, and young adults experiencing increased levels of suicidal ideation, depression, and anxiety.  Dr. Quast specialized in working with families of adolescents that struggled with suicidal and/or homicidal ideations and/or attempts. Dr. Quast is currently Support/Crisis Counselor for Allen ISD where she provides counseling supports and psychoeducation for the students, faculty, and community.  Dr. Quast has served as an adjunct professor for the University of North Texas, Texas A&M University – Commerce and Texas Wesleyan for 2 years.  Dr. Quast has taught graduate courses in school counseling, counseling, and marriage and family counseling, as well as post-graduate level courses in marriage and family counseling.
