• My name is Dayna Price. I started my teaching career in 1994 and have been teaching for 28 years. I've taught Special Education for 17 years from Pre-K to 9th grade, coached JH and HS sports for 12 years, and taught general education for 11 years. I am currently teaching Special Education Resource 1 classes, grades 4-6th. I have always loved to learn; I consider myself a lifelong learner. I have spent my life developing and fostering educational values in myself, my family, and my students.

    My philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and each child learns differently. One of my jobs as an educator is to help each child discover his or her individuality and work alongside them to maximize it. I enjoy helping students find their confidence by learning how to think for themselves and master the skills of reading and writing.

    When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my 3 children, and 5 grandchildren.  We have lived in the LCR Area for 17 years and we are a proud AISD family!
