Raemi Walker

Hello! My name is Raemi Walker, and I will be teaching 5th grade Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. I am so excited to be at Cheatham Elementary for my 6th year of teaching!

  • A little more about me:

    I am from a very small town in the center of Texas, and I attended college at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and can't imagine doing anything other than teaching. After college, I went back home to teach at the school I attended as a student where I taught 4th grade Reading for two years. This will be my 6th year teaching and 4th year at Cheatham in 5th grade. 

    Reading is my favorite subject and favorite thing to do outside of school. My goal is to encourage my students to also have a life long love of reading.
