Welcome to Olson Elementary! I am so honored to begin my 31st  year in education on our wonderful campus.

I began my teaching career in Richardson, Texas, as an elementary classroom teacher. I also worked as a Master Teacher, supporting K-6 teachers in learning and implementing best practices in instruction.  A few years later I came to Allen ISD to serve as their first Instructional Specialist in Elementary Mathematics. I subsequently worked as an assistant principal and principal in Allen.

I am also a proud Aggie (Whoop!). I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M in College Station, and received my Master’s degree from Texas A&M - Commerce.

Family is very important to me. I live in Allen with my husband, Jeff, and our daughter, Kate, who is 15 and will attend Allen HS this year.

I consider myself quite fortunate to be able to work daily with our delightful Olson students, our dedicated parents, and our exceptional staff.
