    Hello! Welcome to a fabulous year in SSI!  

    My name is Jennifer Smith. I am a Charter Member of Mary Evans Elementary.

    This will be my 21st year of teaching!

     I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grade!  I am looking forward to providing support to students in the SSI program. 

    I LOVE kids and LOVE teaching!

    I was born in Lufkin, Texas. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I moved to Dallas to begin my teaching career in 2002. I come from a LONG line of educators.

    I have a Master of Education degree with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M Commerce. 

    I enjoy reading books, traveling, spending time with my family and friends, shopping, going to sporting events, and working out. My favorite color is pink!
