Welcome 5th graders! I am so excited about starting a new school year and getting to know you. Together, we are going to have so much fun learning and making memories as we explore the world of Math and Science. 

This will be my 16th year as a teacher. Before joining the Kerr staff, I taught 4th-6th grades at Anderson and Chandler Elementary in Allen. I was born and raised in Dallas and spent most of my summers visiting my family in Greece. I received my BBA in Economics from The University of North Texas and after having children I decided to pursue my dream of being a teacher. My husband and I have been married for 27 years and blessed to have raised our two sons here in Allen. Our oldest recently graduated from Texas Tech University and our youngest is currently studying at Texas Tech as well. As a family, we enjoy playing with our sweet rescue dog, watching sports, playing games, traveling, cooking, gardening, relaxing at the ranch, and spending quality time with our BIG Greek families. 

Teaching is truly a passion and I find great joy working with students. I believe that parent, teacher, and student communication is key to a successful year. Feel free to reach out should you have any questions or concerns.
