My name is Mary Taveras and I have been with Allen ISD since 2004. I love working at Olson Elementary! I have been an instructional assistant in various roles and love working with the students as they achieve success.  I started at Rountree Elementary and then worked at Allen High School and am now in my current position as an Active Learning Classroom (ALC) Aide.  I have been married for twenty-eight years to my sweetheart. We love the beach in the Dominican Republic where we lived for many years. We have two adult, married sons who graduated from Allen HS in 2014 and 2016 and we now have two grandchildren!!  My passion is helping students and making sure they feel loved at Olson Elementary!
