Norton Elementary

Welcome to Norton Elementary! My name is Renee Nelson and I am thrilled to be the Assistant Principal of the Norton Knights! I have worked in education for the last 9 years and believe that when educators, parents, and students work together anything is possible! 

I am a graduate of Allen High School- Go Eagles! I went to Texas A&M for my undergraduate- Gig'Em Aggies and completed my master's in Educational Leadership from UNT. I taught at Cheatham for 2 years and Preston for 4 years as a 6th grade teacher before joining the Norton family. 

For fun, I spend time with family and friends, cheer on my nephews at their sports games, read, and travel whenever I get the chance.
