A little bit about me. I live in Princeton with my husband and Toy Poodle, Emmie.  I'm a native Texan and grew up in Garland.  I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University (Go Lumberjacks!) and have a Bachelor of Social Work degree.  After college, I realized that social work was not the career path I wanted to pursue, so I applied for Dallas' Alternative Certification Program.  After working for a year, I received my Texas Teaching Certificate for grades 1st - 6th.  The 2022-2023 academic year will be my 25th year of teaching.

 

When I am not at school, you will find me excercising or watching The University of Oklahoma sports.  A few of my favorite things are Tex-Mex food, sweet tea, and Crumbl cookies.
