    Hello! My name is Melissa Cooper, and I am so excited to have your child in my 2nd grade class this year! I am brand new to Story, but this will actually be my 3rd year teaching! I graduated from the University of North Texas, magma cum laude, in 2018. I have a teacup yorkie named Romeo, and he is twelve years old. I love to travel, and most recently this summer had the opportunity to visit Alaska with my family! My family is so important to me- I have two brothers and one sister. I have always wanted to be a teacher, and often had my brothers pretend to be my students when we were younger. I can't wait to get to know you and your student even better over this upcoming year, it's going to be an amazing year!
