    provided in focused, small groups.  Our interventions are guided by Allen

    Hello, my name is Amy Bates and this is my first year at Story. I  began my Allen ISD career in 2002, teaching 3rd grade at Bolin.  I opened Chandler Elementary in 2006 and for the past 12 years I have taught 5th grade math and science as a Chandler Cheetah. I am so excited to be Story Elementary's SSI teacher along with my amazing new team, Mrs. Kobernat, Mrs. Osburn, and Mrs. Steslow.  I have a daughter, Maddie, who will be a senior this year, and a son, Cooper, who will be attending the Freshman Center. 

    I can't wait to meet you!
