Welcome to 6th grade! I will be your ELA and World Cultures teacher. Mrs. Lamb (World Cultures/Science), Mrs. Blahitka (Math), Mrs. Johnson (Math/Science), and Mrs. Timmons (ELA) and I have been busy planning the upcoming year and we are all looking forward to meeting you!  

This is my first year as a Norton Knight and I am so excited about teaching sixth grade ELA and World Cultures. My family recently moved from San Diego, CA, where I taught 6th grade for 11 years and worked at my alma mater, Point Loma Nazarene University. I received my Bachelor's Degree from PLNU in 2000, my Master's Degree in 2003, and my administrative credential in 2006.

My husband, Lance and I have three daughters; Elle (8th grade), Bella (7th grade) and Mae (5th grade). As a family, we enjoy being outside, (when the temperatures are cooler), playing board games, and watching movie marathons while consuming huge quantities of popcorn and ice cream. 

I am looking forward to a great group of sixth graders and all that we will learn this year.
