Hi there, I'm Jennifer Cross and I teach 6^th Grade Mathematics here at Reed Elementary. I have been at Reed for over 4 years and this is my second year teaching 6^th grade math. When you walk in my classroom you will notice how much I love math and my students.

I have two beautiful girls, Mary Beth and Charlotte. Mary Beth is four and loves reading and playing soccer. Charlotte is thirteen and loves reading, science, and is a competitive gymnast. Heartly is our one-year-old labrador that loves giving hugs and kisses. My husband is a mechanical engineer and is a huge West Virginia University fan. We might support different teams, but our family loves spending time together watching and going to games.

Our whole family loves sports. My husband was a collegiate hockey player and we all support the Pittsburgh Penguins. My daughter Charlotte competes in gymnastics. Mary Beth is just starting to learn the game of soccer and I played when I was in school. We all support FC Dallas and see students there from time to time. We all love to read.

I really love math, but I also enjoy reading with my family. Currently, we are reading the Mother-Daughter Book Club Series by Heather Vogel Frederick.

I look forward to getting to know all of my students, and learning what their hobbies and favorite things are.
