I am so happy to be a part of the Kerr family in my position as Campus Intervention Specialist. This is my 13th year as an educator. I spent three years in Temple ISD and I have spent the last nine years here at Kerr. I have taught math, science, and social studies in fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. I graduated from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in 2007 and received my Masters in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin in 2016.
My family and I live in Melissa,Texas. I have three kiddos: Ethan, Clarie, and Anna. Ethan is in 5th grade at Kerr this year and Claire is in 3rd grade at Kerr. My youngest, Anna, just turned three this summer. My husband, Josh, also works in Allen ISD at Ford Middle School as a 7th grade science teacher and girl's basketball and track coach.
In my role as Campus Intervention Specialist (CIS), I assist with student intervention, coordiate our SIT and504 meetings, coordinate many of the assessment events on campus, as well as monitor student achievement.
