I am so happy to be a part of the Kerr family in my position as Campus Intervention Specialist. This is my 14th year as an educator. I spent three years in Temple ISD and I have spent the last ten years here at Kerr. I have taught math, science, and social studies in fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. I graduated from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in 2007 and received my Masters in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin in 2016.
My family and I live in Melissa,Texas. I have three kiddos: Ethan, Clarie, and Anna. Ethan is in 6th grade, Claire is in 4th grade, and my youngest, Anna, just turned four this summer. My husband, Josh, works in Melissa ISD as a 7th grade science teacher and girl's volleyball, basketball, and track coach.
In my role as Campus Intervention Specialist (CIS), I assist with student intervention, coordiate our SIT and 504 meetings, coordinate many of the assessment events on campus, as well as monitor student achievement. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or concerns about your child's progress.
