     Hello! Thank you for visiting my webpage. I am excited about embarking on a new school year here at Preston Elementary. This will be my 21st year of teaching. I have taught kindergarten, fifth grade, sixth grade, and, in addition, I was an ELL Facilitator. I'm proud to say that this will be my 14th year of teaching sixth grade! My favorite aspects of teaching are getting to know my students, building a rapport with them, and seeing their excitement about learning.
     
    My family and I live in Allen. My husband, Jerry, and I have two daughters; Michaela (College Freshman) and Ashlyn (9th grade). Both of our daughters are very talented. Michaela is a skilled pianist, and Ashlyn is an awesome basketball player. 
     
    Some of my favorite things to do are: travel, ice-skate, attend my daugther's basketball games and listen to music. 
     
    I believe this will be a fantastic school year. I can't wait to see all that we will achieve together!
