Class Syllabus

Welcome to 8th Grade Science! I'm looking forward to a great year learning with all of you at Curtis Middle School!

A Little About Me:

I am very excited to be starting my 5th year at Curtis. I am also thrilled to be teaching 8th grade science which I love, and I hope you all enjoy learning and experimenting with me this year!

I grew up in West Texas, and I graduated from Texas Tech University with a BS in Biology and Chemistry. After graduating, my husband, Billy, and I moved to the Allen area. We have two children - Brendan and Alexandra. I have worked in several laboratory environments, but after my children were born I decided to change careers and become a teacher. It was a wonderful decision for me, and I love working here in Allen. I was blessed to have my first teaching job at Allen High School, after which I taught at Marion Elementary, and have now moved to Curtis Middle School. Curtis is an excellent school and I love it here! I'm looking forward to working with you all this year in 8th Grade science.
