    Coach Williams
Hi everyone!  My name is Kera Williams and I am the lead Physical Education teacher at Marion. I am also the Program Advisor for the Marion Fuel Up to Play 60 team and the Allen ISD Elementary Physical Education Lead Teacher.
I graduated in 1998 from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree.  I majored in Kinesiology with a minor in English.  I currently live in McKinney with my husband Chris and our three children, Trinity, Ethan and Reid. Our daughter, Trinity, was a 2020 graduate and will be attending and playing soccer at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in the fall. Our son Ethan is entering his Sophomore year of school and our youngest, Reid, is a 5th grader and attends Marion.
I began my teaching career in the Rice Consolidated ISD at Garwood Elementary and Middle School in 1999.  I taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade Language Arts and 8th grade Reading and Art.  I also taught K-3 PE and coached 7th and 8th grade Volleyball, Basketball, Golf, Track and Tennis. My next job took me to Pasadena ISD.  I taught PK-5 Physical Education there for three years. Finally, I moved to Allen ISD.  I have been at Marion since it opened, (this is year 18) teaching K-6 Physical Education. We added a Wellness program to our school several years ago. Through that program we have been able to offer a variety of different opportunities to the students at Marion.
I hope you are looking forward to having some fun in PE!
