This is my 18th year teaching at Marion and I love it! I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in interdisciplinary studies. I also have my ESL certification. I have been married for 17 years to my wonderful husband, Matt. We met here in Allen 24 years ago and were high school sweethearts. We have a 13-year-old son named Mason, who is an 8th grader at Curtis. Some exciting news in our family is that we just got a new puppy! His name is Tucker and he is a mini-aussie. We are a little obsessed with him! 

I can't wait to help every student in my class become excited about reading and learning. It's going to be a wonderful school year!
