Welcome to Mrs. Woodlee's class, where learning is always an adventure! Here is a little about myself. This is my third year at Norton, and my second year teaching 6th grade! I was born and raised in Dallas, TX., and I went to Texas Woman's University where I got my degree in Education.
My husband and I recently celebrated 6 years of marriage. We have two dogs named Sammy and Sirius Black, and a cat named Max, all of whom are very spoiled! When I'm not teaching I enjoy traveling with my husband, trying new restaurants, and going to different sports games. I love the Dallas Mavericks, and I always a enjoy a good Allen Americans game!
6th grade is an exciting year at Norton because students get so many opportunities to be leaders of our school and encourage the younger grades. ELA is especially unique because our students will be introduced to SpringBoard, a textbook they will be working with until they graduate from high school! In World Cultures, your child will have the opportunity to learn about countries that can be vastly different from us here in America. I am thrilled to get to show them different parts of the world, and learn about how these cultures interact.
