Welcome to  Mrs. Woodlee's class, where learning is always an adventure! Here is a little about myself. This is my 5th year at Norton, and my 4th year teaching 6th grade! I was born and raised in Dallas, TX., and I went to Texas Woman's University where I got my degree in Education. My husband and I recently celebrated 8 years of marriage. We have a one year old son named Oliver, and two dogs (Sammy and Sirius Black), and a cat (Max).  When I'm not teaching I enjoy traveling with my family, trying new restaurants, and going to different sports games. I love the Dallas Mavericks, and I always a enjoy a good Allen Americans game!
6th grade is an exciting year at Norton because students get so many opportunities to be leaders of our school and encourage the younger grades. In World Cultures, your child will have the opportunity to learn about countries that can be vastly different from us here in America. I am thrilled to get to show them different parts of the world, and give them the opportunity to share and compare their own personal culture.
