Hi, my name is Maggie Esposito and this is my 19th year at Norton as a Kindergarten teacher.

...BS in Education from the State University of New York at Geneseo, Geneseo, NY
...MS. Ed. in Early Childhood Education from the College of New Rochelle, New Rochelle, NY
...13 years teaching experience in The Bronx, New York
...5 years teaching in Allen, TX at Children's Creative Playday at the First United Methodist Church

I have been married to my husband, Andy, for 33 years.  We moved to Texas from New York 25 years ago.  We have two children.  Our son, Daniel, and his wife, Amanda live in McKinney. They have blessed us with two precious granddaughters. Everly will turn 3 in October and Aubrey turned 1 in July.  Our daughter, Katie, and her husband Preston, live in Dallas. Katie is also a teacher and works for Highland Park school district. We are blessed to have our kids so close and we enjoy spending as much time with them as possible. All four of our children graduated from Texas A&M, so we are huge Aggie fans.  We also enjoy attending Allen Eagle football games.  Being from NY, we are also huge NY Yankee fans!
My hobbies include reading, shopping, swimming, walking, spending time with my family, going to the movies, playing with our two dogs (Stella and Lacy), and teaching Kindergarten!

It is my goal to create a learning environment in which each child is respected as an individual, and provided with developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Individual learning styles will be nurtured as well as individual learning paces. I hope to give each child a solid foundation on which future learning can stand. Most of all, I want your child to believe LEARNING IS FUN and that SCHOOL IS A GREAT PLACE TO BE! I look forward to a wonderful year with you and your child and hope to create life long memories of Kindergarten. It is important for us, as partners in your child's education, to have open communication. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments.
