ARACELI OLIVA, M.S., CCC-SLP
Hello, my name is Araceli Oliva and I am the Speech Language Pathologist at Lowery Freshman Center. I also service students at Allen High School. I have been in Allen ISD since August 2008. I was at Rountree Elementary for 10 years and then moved to Lowery in August 2017. I started my career in 2006 in Dallas ISD where I serviced students from PreK through 12th grade. I consider myself a native Texan although I was born in Washington D.C. (I'm one of those who wasn't born in Texas but got here as fast as I could). I grew up in the Dallas area and attended private Catholic school most of my life. I received my Bachelor of Science in 2005 from the University of Texas at Dallas with a major in Speech Language Pathology. I received my Master of Science from Texas Woman's University in 2008. I am licensed in the state of Texas and have obtained my Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
My family life: I am married and am a proud mother of four awesome children: Cristian (26 years old, 2nd year medical student at Columbia University, Jacob (24 years old, lives and works in DC, is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin), Priscilla (22 years old, lives and works in New Jersey) and Matthew (6th grader in Melissa ISD). I feel very blessed to be working here and look forward to this school year.
If you have a student who receives speech services and have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me. I will respond to your email questions or phone calls as soon as I can.
