School Health Services
Note to Parents of Students Entering 7th Grade
Before entering seventh grade, students are required to have one dose of meningococcal vaccine and a second dose of varicella vaccine in addition to the previously required immunizations. To prevent delays in registration or in scheduling please email an updated vaccination record directly to your middle school nurse.

Important Immunization InformationAs of Jan. 1, 2012, children who have private health insurance that includes vaccine coverage will no longer be eligible for the Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) program at local health department clinics. These children will be referred to their primary health care provider for immunization services. This includes the CareVan program. Please check with the Texas Department of Health Services website to see if your child can be served by a public provider. Eligibility of students with Medicaid, CHIP or no insurance does not change.
FitnessGram TestingLimits the administration of the FITNESSGRAM to only those students who are enrolled in a course for P.E. credit. Parents my request a copy of their child's FITNESSGRAM results by submitting a written request to the campus principal by the end of the school year.
