Welcome to the Clinic!

                    Juanita Joseph

                School Nurse

My name is Juanita Joseph and I am thrilled to be the nurse here at Lindsey. I have been an orthopedic nurse as well as a pediatric nurse. Before becoming a nurse, I was  fortunate enough to be an elementary school teacher. I am married and have two sons, Julian and Justin, who are also Lindsey Lone Stars.

My ultimate goal in the school clinic is to provide for your child's needs while encouraging a prompt return to the classroom.  I realize how busy parents are, so I try to only call when necessary.  I will notify parents when the student is running a fever (over 100 degrees F) or if a significant injury has occurred at school.  I try very hard to keep visits to the clinic a positive experience and filled with reassurance.
I communicate with students, parents, and teachers in many ways including newsletter notifications, letters home, phone calls, and e-mails. Because the clinic can be a busy place, phone calls might be hard to answer immediately. Please feel free to leave a message on my voicemail and I will return your call as soon as possible.  The best way to communicate with me is via email. I try to return emails and voicemails as fast as I can.

Please take a moment and review the links on this page. You will find useful information regarding immunization requirements, where to find action plans for health conditions as well as guidelines for keeping sick children home from school. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

I’m hoping for a healthy, positive and productive year. I look forward to meeting you and your child.
