    Welcome to fourth grade math and science at the GATE Academy!  I am so excited to be a part of this awesome Allen ISD program.  I am starting my 18th year of teaching, and my seventh year in fourth grade GATE.  I have also been a gifted and talented K - 5 campus specialist for several years, as well as a fourth, first, and pre-K teacher.  In GATE, we will be covering the fourth grade curriculum using gifted and talented teaching strategies and extension activities where appropriate.  We incorporate Genius Hour, Problem Based Learning, and the use of MakerSpace materials during the year.  I am looking forward to being back in the classroom with all of our awesome fourth grade GATE learners this year!  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at any time!
