Flyer Approval Process

  • Allen ISD has adopted an electronic flyer distribution program called Peachjar. With the new system, flyers from community organizations will be distributed through a weekly email and posted on school Web sites. This is part of our on-going effort to focus resources on education while reducing the environmental impact of our activities.

In accordance with Allen ISD policy, only communication sponsored by the district or a district-affiliated/school-support organization is permitted for distribution and circulation through district resources. All communication material must be pre-approved by and distributed through Allen ISD’s Public Information Office.

This policy pertains to all forms of communication, including but not limited to: flyers, posters, handbills, photographs, pictures, yard signs, electronic marquees, coupons, films, tapes, other written materials, other printed materials, other visual materials, other auditory materials, and all social media platforms.

Review Allen ISD's Materials Distribution Guidelines including information on affiliated organizations and what kinds of material that will not be approved.

Flyers are currently reviewed on a weekly basis for distribution (usually on Thursday) during the school year.

Community Groups and Organizations

  • Allen ISD cooperates with approved community partners by posting flyers online and distributing them electronically through our service provider, Peachjar.
