• SAT School Day

During the 86th Texas Legislature session House Bill 3 provided funding for all seniors to take a college entrance exam.  Seniors in Allen ISD will be taking the SAT (No Essay) on October 14, 2020.

Students do not need to register for the test.  Students that have already registered for the SAT on a national date may choose to keep that date or transfer that registration to a later national testing date.

Students will have the opportunity to send their test scores to four colleges, universities, or scholarship programs for free.

The Khan Academy has a long standing partnership with the College Board to provide SAT resources at no cost to families.  AHS encourages all students to link their College Board accounts with Khan Academy to provide resources based on the student’s own PSAT scores (released through student College Board accounts in December 2019).

All seniors will report to their testing rooms at 8:50 AM on testing day.  Students need to bring:

    • Several #2 pencils
    • A sack lunch
    • Calculator
    • Student I.D.

Allen High School will follow district and local protocols for social distancing and mitigation measures.  Students participating in at home learning are highly encouraged to participate.
