About Me

I am a true Texan through and through. I was born in Houston but raised in Plano, where I attended school from Kindergarten through High School. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Literary Studies and a passion for teaching. 

I currently live in Allen with my husband, Brian, and my two daughters, Preslyn and Avery. Preslyn is a 5th grader and Avery is in 3rd grade. They have both attended Cheatham since Kindergarten. When I am not teaching, we are either at a soccer or volleyball game for the girls, watching Netflix movies, playing with our two dogs and two cats, or visiting my daughter's horse at the farm!

Life is an adventure and we always try to live it to the fullest!
