A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words, Art, Literature, Writing, & More
Students are engaged in reading and writing through the art classroom through the use of children's books.

With an in-room art library, visual examples, references, and instruction will be available to all art students and art club members wanting to gain more knowledge about art.

Through the use of Gameplan, an active curriculum for kinder through 5th grade, students will be able to play, read, and create their own music.

Students have the opportunity to take part in all components of a musical while increasing their skill and knowledge of the arts.

Supporting Choice-Based Artists
Students are engaged in art through the use of 7 studios: drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, fiber arts, construction, and fiber arts, in which they are in charge of their artistic choices.

Ukuleles in the Classroom
Students in grades 3-5 will be provided with hands-on opportunities to make music through the use of ukuleles.

Visual arts teachers attend a workshop based around ceramics and what is required to be successful in teaching this form of art.
