    This grant provides Cheatham students with versatile building materials that can be used in many different subject areas for wonderful, engaging lessons in 2-D and 3-D shape units. Students will love getting a chance to use their problem-solving skills to design many different creations.

    The math games offer a hands-on experience for the students who need specific help with those grade-level Power Standards, including counting, adding, and making fractions. The ELA activities are for our 2nd-5th graders who struggle with concepts such as making inferences, key details, and sequencing.

  • Enterprise City Field Trip

    At Enterprise City in Richardson, students participate in this simulation that introduces them to their future roles as producers, consumers, and citizens. They practice skills including applying for jobs, writing checks and balancing a checkbook as they purchase and sell their goods and services.

  • TI Rovers - Going the Distance with Math

    Rovers Take Over! Math 8 students use skills to drive Ti Rovers by measuring angles and distances as they create maps, and Algebra 1 students determine rate, time and speed to calculate collisions of Rovers.
