Allen ISD Names Director for Career and Technology

Daniel Soliz Daniel Soliz has been named Allen ISD’s Director for Career and Technology. Soliz will oversee the Career & Technical Education (CTE) department which provides students with an opportunity to experience specific career pathways. These pathways include agriculture, architecture, business management, educational training, health science, hospitality, law and public safety, and marketing and sales.

Soliz joins Allen from Kennedale ISD where he served as the Career and Technical Education Specialist. Soliz has also served as an Audio/Visual Production and Speech teacher in Kennedale, and as an A/V teacher at Tarrant County College. He was named the Educator of the Year in Kennedale ISD in 2015-16. 

Soliz earned his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Texas State University, and his master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University.

Soliz will join Allen ISD later this spring.
