The Allen ISD Board of Trustees is inviting parents, community and business members to serve on the SOAR 2030 Strategic Planning Committee this school year.

SOAR 2030 is an extensive strategic planning process that will help focus on: how students learn, what we teach, what skills students will need beyond graduation and how we can involve the entire staff and community in that effort.

The process will engage approximately 140 parents, community and staff members to develop a long-range plan for the district. The committee will meet monthly from September 2019 through February 2020. The meetings will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. on the following dates:

Sept. 16, Oct. 2, Oct. 21, Nov. 13, Dec. 9, Jan. 16 and Feb. 5

Individuals interested in serving on the committee can submit an application between August 14 and August 22, 2019, by selecting the SOAR 2030 application links below.  Participants will be selected to provide a wide geographic representation of the community as well as a mix of school-age parents with other community and business members.
