Allen ISD is pleased to announce that Courtney Halpin has been named as the Principal of Kerr Elementary beginning with the 2023-2024 school year and Clint Cypert has been named as Executive Director of Operations.

Courtney is completing her 16th year in education, and she currently serves as the Principal at Sloan Creek Intermediate for Lovejoy ISD. Prior to her current administrative role, Courtney also served as an Assistant Principal at Marion Elementary and as the ELA Coordinator for Allen ISD. Courtney has also served as a Campus Intervention Specialist and classroom teacher for Allen ISD. 

In addition to her roles within Allen ISD, Courtney has previously worked for an educational organization where she supported districts across the nation as an educational consultant and data coach. Please help us congratulate Courtney on her new role as she joins the Kerr Comets team!

Clint is joining us from Frisco ISD, where he currently serves at the Director of Student Services. This is Clint’s 25th year in education. His previous administrative roles include Assistant Principal at Frisco Heritage and Centennial High Schools, and he is a former winner of the TASSP Region 10 Assistant Principal of the Year award. 

In addition to his roles in Frisco ISD, Clint was a Teacher and Coach for Midlothian ISD, Kress ISD, and Amarillo ISD. Clint will join the Operations team on May 30th. Please help us congratulate him on his new role.
